page carries a complete list of all the members on the TRACOM
INFOMEX Virtual Meeting and
Chat Room of IDO (A BITE-IN Venture). The page also
contains a short write up on all the members to be able
to acquaint new members with existing users.
There
are certain rules to be observed while sending mail to
the forum:
1. This mailing list is for Dentists and other allied
fields connected with dentistry from India, or those with
Indian background. This list is not open to the general
public.
2. All mailings, responses and comments have to pertain
to Dentistry and it’s immediate surroundings. Topics
having no relationship with dentistry should not be
discussed.
3. Discussions can be free and without inhibitions.
Enthusiastic responses and heated exchanges will be
welcomed. However, no personal comments are allowed.
4. There should be no gender bias in your comments.
5. There should be no religious bias in your comments.
6. No advertising or promotion of any sort is allowed.
7. A few unwritten forms of the Internet. When you type
in capitals it is considered shouting. Only certain few
words on the net should be in capitals for the sake of
emphasis. If something is being written in a light vien
you can add the following characters at the end of your
sentence :-) :-) This indicates a smiling face.
Look at it sideways and you will be able to observe it.
You could also type LOL which means Laughing Out
Loud in an extremely humorous situation.
8. A few abbreviations used on the net. IMHO stands for
In My Honest Opinion. BTW is By The Way. An Indian
acronym used in dentistry is POPAT which means Pain on
Percussion And Trauma. :-) :-)
